NEED TO INTERVENE: Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich presented his vision and plans to “Reimagine Public Safety” with Police Chief Marcus Jones; President of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) for Montgomery County, Torrie Cooke; and the County's Health and Human Services Director, Dr. Raymond Crowel. They announced a change policy last week, and officers now must intervene if they witness another officer using unnecessary force.
